BIM Manager
The BIM Manager is responsible for setting up and managed BIM for the relevant parts of the project based on the employer’s guidance and Life Cycle/Asset Management principles. This role involves developing BIM requirements for Contract Packages, incorporating them into Bidding Documents, and directing their execution. The BIM Manager shall implement a cloud-based Common Data Environment (CDE) to manage design, construction, and installation data, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with ISO 19650 throughout the design, construction, and handover phases.
Key Responsibilities
Establish required BIM standard and BIM levels among all parties and system specifications in coordination with the Employer based on ISO 19650 and OmniClass
Develop a practical BIM proposal (time/cost-realistic) and requirements from design to operations
Incorporate BIM requirements into Bidding Documents evaluate bidder capacity and update the Project Management Manual
Implement Level 2 BIM including International Finance Corporation (IFC) or Construction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBie) with 3D visualization,scheduling and cost tracking
Deploy a cloud-based CDE for data management visualization clash detection and change management
Define roles workflows naming conventions and spatial coordination within the CDE hierarchy
Produce the BIM Requirements Report Management Concept and Guidelines and Quarterly Progress Reports
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related Engineering or Management Field
Experience
10 Years of Experience in Task-Related Fields
5 Years of Experience in Urban Transport Projects in SEA and/or Indonesia
English Language Proficiency
TOEFL >= 70 / IELTS >=6.0 / TOEIC >= 750 / CEFR: B2 or better
