Chief Rolling Stock & Depot Equipment Supervision

The Chief Rolling Stock & Depot Equipment Supervision is responsible for the supervision of construction, installation, and delivery of Rolling Stock and Depot Equipment. This role involves reviewing detailed designs, enforcing compliance with technical standards and statutory regulations, and conducting day-to-day inspections of works and supplies. 

This role is involved starting from the construction phase to ensures quality, quantity, and time control while managing contract administration, payment certification, and testing and commissioning of rolling stock  and depot equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Checking and approval of proposed work procedures

  • Examine inspect and check construction works, installation works deliveries and assemblies for Rolling Stock and Depot Equipment

  • Examine compliance with regulations technical standards quality assurance requirements and financier visibility guidelines

  • Control Execute daily quality and quantity control for all works and supplies ensuring use of compliant permanent and temporary materials

  • Undertake time and expenditure control and report on project progress and risks to employer

  • Review and approve Contractor invoices and issue Payment Certificates to the Employer

  • Provide guidance to the Contractor to conform to specifications and review shop drawings as-built drawings and operation manuals 

  • Supervise Contractor’s testing and commissioning of constructed/installed works plant and supplies

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related Engineering Field

Experience

  • 5 Years of Experience in Task-Related Fields

  • Experience working with European Railway Standards is Advantage

English Language Proficiency

TOEFL >= 70 / IELTS >=6.0 / TOEIC >= 750 / CEFR: B2 or better
