Chief Scheduling and Planning Specialist

The Chief Scheduling and Planning Specialist is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the progress of the Works through a Project Control System. This role focuses on controlling time and money consumption by managing scheduling estimating capital cost control and progress monitoring. The specialist ensures that data is generated and presented effectively for timely decision-making and maintains an overview of the relationship between capital costs and time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on the progress of the works and consumption of project time and money

  • Establish and maintain a Project Control System to evaluate project progress at regular intervals

  • Manage scheduling and estimating tasks and perform capital cost control

  • Track project schedule performance and capital costs against established baselines to produce periodic comparison reports

  • Maintain overview of cash flow requirements draw-down requirements and the cost impacts of accelerated or delayed work

  • Perform actual compare to planned project progress analyses regarding schedule and cost under consideration of critical path.

  • Recommend corrective actions to the Employer and contractor when required based on system evaluations

  • Ensure project control data is presented according to contract requirements for effective decision-making

  • Provide information for input to progress reports

  • Implement a conform scheduling program among all parties

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related Engineering or Management Field

Experience

  • 10 Years of Experience in Task-Related Fields

English Language Proficiency

TOEFL >= 70 / IELTS >=6.0 / TOEIC >= 750 / CEFR: B2 or better
