Chief Testing & Commissioning Expert

The Chief Testing & Commissioning Expert leads the system validation and handover phase for electrified corridors and rolling stock systems. This role is responsible for ensuring that all installed infrastructure and railway system components are technically sound, safe, and operationally ready. The Expert provides the final bridge between engineering design and public service by verifying compliance with international standards, statutory regulations, and safety certifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the final testing and commissioning phase for electrified corridors, rolling stock systems, and all individual system components

  • Review detailed engineering designs and functional engineering designs for railway systems to ensure they are testable and meet project requirements

  • Verify the compliance of installed systems with statutory regulations, technical standards, safety and quality assurance requirements

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to finalize the handover of completed rail assets for public service

  • Determine and issue reasoned technical opinions for the approval or rejection of testing results and commissioning documentation

  • Ensure all testing procedures align with international railway safety standards to secure final approval by the Employer

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related Engineering or Management Field

Experience

  • 10 Years of Experience in Task-Related Fields

  • 5 Years of Experience in Urban Transport Projects in SEA and/or Indonesia

  • Experience working with European Railway Standards is Advantage

English Language Proficiency

Native Speaker / TOEFL >= 80 / IELTS >=7.5 / TOEIC >= 850 / CEFR: C1 or better
