Design Review Manager
The Design Review Manager is responsible for leading the team of specialists in the comprehensive review and approval process of engineering designs submitted by the design consultants. The role involves overlooking the technical assessments of civil, structural, trackwork, MEP, and railway systems to ensure they meet project standards. The Manager consolidates specialist findings to provide unified recommendations for Employer approval, ensuring all designs align with statutory regulations, quality requirements, and complex project interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the review activities of specialists for Detailed Engineering Designs (Civil, Structural, Trackwork, MEP) and Functional Engineering Designs (Railway Systems)
Consolidate specialist reviews to issue final reasoned recommendations for approval or rejection by the Employer
Ensure the team examines all design documentation for strict compliance with statutory regulations, technical standards, and quality assurance requirements
Overlook the review of Design Criteria, Technical Specifications, and Engineering Design Guidelines
Qualifications and Skills
Master’s degree or higher in a related Engineering or Management Field
Experience
10 Years of Experience in Task-Related Fields
Experience working with European Railway Standards is Advantage
English Language Proficiency
TOEFL >= 70 / IELTS >=6.0 / TOEIC >= 750 / CEFR: B2 or better
