Overhead Catenary System Specialist

Overhead Catenary System (OCS) Specialist is responsible for the technical review and validation of OCS designs within the railway systems. This role ensures that all catenary-related documentation, including functional and detailed engineering designs, complies with technical standards, statutory regulations, and quality requirements while maintaining seamless interface integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and recomment approval of Detailed Engineering Designs for OCS-related structures and components to issue technical recommendations for Employer approval

  • Evaluate Functional Engineering Designs for the overhead catenary system to ensure operational alignment and system performance

  • Examine OCS design documentation for strict adherence to statutory regulations, technical standards, and quality assurance protocols

  • Assess the interface and configuration management utilized for OCS to ensure technical compatibility with civil works and other railway systems

  • Determine and issue reasoned technical opinions for the approval or rejection of OCS design submissions by the RDC

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree or higher in a related Engineering or Management Field

Experience

  • 15 Years of Experience in Task-Related Fields

  • Experience working with European Railway Standards is Advantage

English Language Proficiency

TOEFL >= 70 / IELTS >=6.0 / TOEIC >= 750 / CEFR: B2 or better
