Project leader / EV charging and power system expert

The Project Leader serves as the overall team leader and primary point of accountability for the full Technical Assistance (TA) program. This role carries direct responsibility for coordinating and delivering all TA outputs across four workstreams: Knowledge Exchange with global VGI practitioners; design and implementation support for 1,000-unit V2H pilot project; oversight of production costing and use case modelling; and integration of policy and regulatory advisory into a coherent scaling-up strategy. The role demands strong technical grounding in EV charging and power systems combined with proven team leadership and executive stakeholder management at utility and government level

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compiling and managing all the key TA deliverables
  • Oversee delivery Knowledge Exchange (KE), Technical Assistance, Capacity Building and Advisory to the state enterprise electricity utility
  • Coordinate with other Consultant/expert(s) to complete the deliverables.

 

Your Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering, economics or other relevant fields

Experience

  • At least 5 years of team leadership in related assignment/projects
  • Experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating V2H/V2G pilots and programs
  • Experience in bidirectional charging arrangements for passenger vehicles
  • Familiarity with leading global VGI platforms and technologies (OpenADR, OVGIP, KrakenFlex, Mobility House, etc.).
  • Ability to extrapolate pilot project results to system-wide roll-outs of new EV technologies
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience and 10 years of international experience

English Language Proficiency

Excellent oral and written English communication skills
