Project Manager

Project Management Consultant Railways of the comprehensive implementation of the electrified commuter railway network spanning approximately 150 km of regional railway corridors. This includes Project management,, procurement and construction, commissioning supervision and coordination with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure the realisation of the project in required quality and time. 

Key Responsibilities

  • General project management (planning, scheduling, staffing)

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Manage high-level relationships with international funding agencies, government authorities, and regional stakeholders.

  • Implement and ensure strategic project objectives by supervising core implementation activities and reported funding allocations.

  • Authorize critical decisions regarding project governance, financial health, and long-term network expansion.

  • Have very good communication and management skills and capacity to negotiate and develop good relations at work, and at highest level of the employer’s management.

  • Responsible for the co-ordination with the consultant project back-office and shall supervise the functional support to the consultant’s team in Indonesia. 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree or higher in a related Engineering or Management Field

Experience

  • 20 Years of Experience in Project Management for Public Transportation Infrastructure Projects (urban/suburban, preferably railways; new, upgrade or rehabilitation)
  • 5 Years of Experience in Urban Transport Projects in SEA and/or Indonesia
  • Experience working with European Railway Standards is Advantage

English Language Proficiency

Native Speaker / TOEFL >= 80 / IELTS >=7.5 / TOEIC >= 850 / CEFR: C1 or better
