Signalling and Communications Specialist

The Signalling and Communications Specialist leads and coordinates the design and engineering activities for railway control and telecommunication systems. This role is responsible for reviewing functional and detailed engineering designs to ensure seamless system integration and strict adherence to international standards (EN, IEC, IEEE) and local regulations, providing technical recommendations to achieve project approval.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve Functional Engineering Designs for railway signalling and communications and issue technical recommendations for Employer approval

  • Lead and coordinate design activities for signalling, telecommunications, and integrated control systems within the project scope

  • Support the integration of signalling and communications with OCS, SCADA, protection systems, and power quality infrastructure

  • Verify that all design documentation aligns with quality assurance requirements and technical specifications

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree or higher in a related Engineering or Management Field

Experience

  • 15 Years of Experience in Task-Related Fields

  • Experience working with European Railway Standards is Advantage

English Language Proficiency

TOEFL >= 70 / IELTS >=6.0 / TOEIC >= 750 / CEFR: B2 or better
